D.Akridas Bros S.A. is a company with great history, a leading role in houseware section and vast potential of growth.
It was founded in 1953 by Athanasios and George, Akridas Brothers, focusing in production, process and trading of textiles.
Our corporate facilities house the bussiness administration and the commercial department, as well as the departments of innovation and growth and logistics.
We cooperate with certified industries in Greece, Europe and Asia for the production of our textiles.
Our experienced executives, by following high standards, monitor all lines of production in order to ensure that products bearing our logo are nothing but of top quality.
COMPANY
HISTORY
The company was founded in 1953 by Athanasios and George, Akridas Brothers, on the process of textiles sector, having textile printers, dye house and finishing unit.
In 1975 we created a fabric mill with all necessary support system and started the production of fabric and cloth.
In 1983 starts operating our first textile mill in Sperhiada, Phtiotis, thus completing the full verticalization of production, also providing a wind of change and opportunity in a rural area.
In 1987 was awarded by A.C.C.I. for the great number of exports per year.
In 1990 created a new textile mill unit for Pennie Fabrics.
Starting in 1995 and on, products of the company are distributed with the trademark Das, a trademark,brand and logo meant to be a synonym of quality. At the same time the department of growth and innovation is founded, in order to keep up with the international trends, as well as to design products that may fulfill all customer’s needs.
In 2001 is certified by Quality Management System ISO 9001, establishing a series of thorough processes, throughout the whole production line, to ensure the high standards of Das products.
In 2002 on an international competion held by O.C.O.G. ATHENS 2004 , secured the right and privilege of using the Olympic Games’ Logo on White Linen.
In 2017 exclusive cooperation for production and distribution of White Linen with Greenwich Polo Club logo in Greece and Cyprus.
